PHILIPPE BARREAU - PRODUCER
After studying commercial business, he started to work more than twenty years ago by negotiating partnerships (sponsors and media) for many theaters and promoters.
In 1996, Philippe partnered up with a producer and managed communication and production departments.
In 2004, he decided to create his own production and entertainment company named Cityprod. Its influence is now international and it produces shows in the biggest venues in France, Belgium, Switzerland and United Kingdom but also in the French Islands.
The shows CITYPROD has produced so far are: 'Umoja', 'The stars of Bolchoï', 'Acrobatic Nutcracker' by the National Circus of China, 'Shadowland’, 'Fire of Anatolia', 'Tribute to Miriam Makeba', 'The National Ballet of Cuba', 'Red army choirs', 'Georgian Legend', 'Natural Mystic Tour', Jimmy Cliff, 'Soweto Gospel Choir', 'Magic Flute' South-African version…
In 2008 Philippe met with Alan Simon at the Folies Bergère in Paris during the musical 'Umoja' as he was the producer of and for which Alan had composed two songs.
Since that meeting, Philippe had wanted to work with Alan on a show. So when Alan offered him to be the producer of 'Tristan & Isolde' it was obvious that Philippe would agree to jump in this wonderful and formidable adventure.
